This year I was so thankful for all the opportunities and many firsts. We got a new house to fill up and what better way to celebrate than having a Christmas Party at our new place with a 9 ft tree! Keeping up the tradition of making a new decorated tree.
This year’s artificial tree theme was “Up in the Clouds” and I made hot air balloons to hang around the tree.
Prepping the steaks for Beef Wellington with the family
A version of Beef Wellington which had onions, spinach, goat cheese and pate.
Served with parsley and mint white sauce and mashed potatoes and steamed baby carrots.
Thanks to C&N Shellfish Farms for providing us with oysters freshly flown in from the coast! It’s made with a miso creamy sauce and topped with candied salmon then baked. It’s heaven in a mouthful.
Polish Christmas Dinner
Day after Christmas all I wanted was Babcia (grandma’s) pierogies. She has different flavours which includes sauerkraut and wild mushrooms.
My wonderful siblings who know me best, got me a Tagine and an AeroGarden (indoor plant grower)
Making Tumeric Garlic chicken with rice for a big party.
